Associate Professor in the Department of Clinical Nutrition, Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Petra.
She obtained her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Jordan University of Science and Technology and earned her PhD from Queen’s University Belfast (QUB) in the United Kingdom. She has received several research awards, including the Distinguished Research Plus Award in 2018 and, most recently, the Distinguished Researcher Award in 2024.
She has published numerous research articles in the field of clinical nutrition in prestigious international journals and is a member of various local and international associations.
She has worked for years on the functional nutrition outcomes for patients with food allergies and diabetes in Jordan. Her research interests include clinical nutrition, public health and nutrition statistics, community nutrition, food analysis, food security, and food quality and safety
